Preventative Maintenance

Keep your recreational vehicle ready for the road with Keller RV's preventative maintenance service.
The best way to continue to enjoy your RV and build those memories with family is to through regular preventative maintenance. Preventing the failures from occurring or at least finding them before they become catastrophic saves you money, time, and stress in the long run. These items can be completed individually or grouped together into a single service call. This list of maintenance items are the most common for RVs. If you desire something to be done that is not shown, feel free to submit your request and we can discuss. Note: the Service Fees shown below do not include the applicable Trip Fee. If any failures are found during visit, their repair will need to be a separate repair event.
FW System Winterization

Drain freshwater tank, isolate and drain water heater, drain water from lines using compressed air, fill lines and p-traps with antifreeze .
DE-WINTERIZATION

Remove antifreeze from lines, flush water lines including water pump, put water heater back in operation, put water system back into normal operating mode .
Safety Device Check

Inspect, clean, and verify operation of Fire/Smoke detector, CO detector, Fire Extinguishers, and Emergency Escape Windows. Record replacement dates.
Water Heater

Inspect anode rod, verify electric element operation, check relief valve, check electric ignitor gap and condition, clean LP orifice, clean burn chamber, verify LP and Electric Operation, flush tank.
Batteries

Verify Overall battery operation including load testing, check water levels refill if necessary, clean terminals, Verify converter operation .
Electrical Panel Inspection

Tighten all breakers and connections, Inspect wiring, verify fuse integrity, check all outlets including GFCI operation.
Furnace Annual Inspection

Clean blower wheel, inspect gaskets, inspect burn chamber, clean tubes, inspect electrode including gap, check orifice, inspect wires, inspect burner head. This maintenance item requires the removal of the furnace from the RV.
Absorption Fridge Annual

Clean surrounding compartment, clean burn chamber, inspect electrode including gap, clean burn tube/orifice, inspect wiring, verify LP and Electric operation including flame characteristics .
Air Conditioning Cleaning

Clean evaporator and condenser fins, Inspect wiring, clean drip tray, lube fan bearing shaft, clean inside filters, inspect gasket, conduct operational temperature test.
Propane System

Inspect tanks, lines , and connections. Conduct Operational tests (leak, pressure, and load), Leak check connections.
Fresh Water Sanitization

Drain system, fill with chlorine bleach solution, let sit approx. 12 hours, drain and flush system.
Roof Sealant Inspection
COST TBD
Inspect roof for tears, rips, damage. Check condition of caulk and repair small issues, check conditions of vents, skylights, etc. If removal and/or significant caulk repairs are need, a separate repair activity will need to be conducted.
